FAQ:

BRING YOUR CHILDREN BACK TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY, JULY 17TH FOR OUR CLOSING PROGRAM!

What is Vacation Bible School (VBS)?

Vacation Bible School is a week of incredible fun, catchy music, friendship, learning and so much more hosted by Pleasant Valley Church. Our aim is for kids to come out and have an absolute BLAST while also learning and growing in their understanding of God.

The theme for VBS 2022 is SPARK STUDIOS - Created in Christ - Designed for God’s Purpose!

This summer kids will learn that God’s creativity didn’t stop in Genesis. The Master Artist is working to redeem, reclaim, and transform us—His creation—to the design He planned for us. Kids will have fun while learning that we are His workmanship (Eph. 2:10) and a masterpiece in process.

What ages can attend VBS?

Children can begin attending VBS at Pleasant Valley once they are 4 years old up to children going into 6th grade. Each child will be placed into a classroom based on the grade they will be going into.

What time is VBS?

VBS will take place from 6:15-8:30 p.m. You can arrive at 6:00 to check-in your kids, and arriving early on Monday evening will help speed up the registration process!

Is there a cost?

There is no cost for your child to attend Vacation Bible School. The people of Pleasant Valley Church cover all the costs associated with your children participating. We love having the opportunity to serve you in this way.

Who takes care of my kids?

Each adult at VBS is a member of PVC and has completed a childcare application, has had reference calls, and has completed a background check. In addition, teenagers, who have completed an application process, serve as helpers in the classrooms. Your child's safety is our priority.

Why should I preregister?

This will expedite the check-in process for you. Preregistration helps us prepare for the number of kids who will be coming out to join us, but it also helps you as the parent to have a simple and fast check-in with your kiddos on Monday. If you choose not to preregister you will still have to register your child on the first day.

Also note, that when you first try to register, you will need to create a username and password. A verification email will be sent to you after you create the username and password. Once the email has been verified, you will be able to preregister.
